Account Manager
Reporting to the General Manager (and collaborating closely with the Sales Manager), the Account Manager is responsible for end-to-end customer account management for NVD Fresh Produce’s key and existing customers in Western Australia. Core focus on maintaining strong customer relationships, managing account transactions, resolving customer queries and ensuring customer satisfaction, while supporting the sales team’s revenue growth and the company’s market competitiveness goals.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage the entire lifecycle of key customer accounts, including onboarding, order processing, invoicing follow-up and post-sales support.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers; address product, delivery and billing queries in a timely and professional manner.
· Collaborate with the Sales Manager to identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities within existing customer accounts to drive revenue growth.
· Work with the Logistic Manager to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and resolve any delivery or product quality issues for customers.
· Coordinate with the accounts team (Receivables, Payables) to streamline invoicing, payment collection and account reconciliation processes.
· Track customer account performance, prepare account reports and provide regular updates to the Sales Manager and General Manager.
· Gather customer feedback on product quality and service; relay insights to the Plantation and senior leadership teams for continuous improvement.
· Support the development of customer loyalty initiatives and maintain the company’s brand reputation in the WA fresh produce market.

Qualification, Experience & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
· Minimum 2-3 years of proven account management or customer relationship management experience, preferably in the fresh produce, horticulture, food or agricultural industry.
· Basic understanding of accounting principles (invoicing, receivables/payables) and experience with account reconciliation processes.
· Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in data analysis to track account performance and identify customer needs.
· Ability to work collaboratively with sales, logistics and accounting teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
· Familiarity with the Western Australian fresh produce market and customer base is a desirable advantage.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously with attention to detail.
