Sales Manager
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will lead the sales function for NVD Fresh Produce’s greenhouse-grown fresh produce in Western Australia’s market. Responsible for driving sales growth, expanding customer base, enhancing brand positioning in the WA horticulture sector, and aligning sales strategies with the company’s expansion and sustainability goals. This role will work closely with the Logistic Manager, Account Manager and senior leadership to ensure consistent product distribution and meet market demand.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow revenue and market share for the company’s fresh produce range in WA.
· Identify and acquire new key customers, distributors and retail partners; nurture and maintain long-term relationships with existing buyers.
· Conduct market research to analyse industry trends, competitor activity and customer demand, adjusting sales plans accordingly.
· Collaborate with the Logistic Manager to ensure timely and efficient order fulfilment, aligning supply with sales forecasts.
· Work with the Account Manager to streamline customer account management processes and resolve sales-related customer issues.
· Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports; track key sales KPIs and report progress to the General Manager and Director.
· Support the company’s brand positioning initiatives and promote the sustainability and quality of NVD’s greenhouse produce in the market.

Qualification, Experience & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Horticulture or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
· Minimum 3 years of proven sales management experience, preferably in the fresh produce, horticulture or agricultural industry in Australia (WA market experience highly desirable).
· Demonstrated track record of driving sales growth, expanding customer networks and meeting sales targets.
· Strong understanding of the WA fresh produce market, including distribution channels, buyer preferences and industry regulations.
· Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
· Proficiency in data analysis to interpret sales trends, prepare forecasts and optimise sales strategies.
· Ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to the dynamic needs of an expanding agricultural business.
